According to "Yale Genealogy and History of Wales," page 509, Aaron Edward & Laura A. (Mills) Yale were residing in Whittier, CA around the time the book was published in 1908. After looking at various web sites I found a search option for Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier. Here are the results. YALE, AARON EDWARD Date Of Death: Thursday, August 09, 1928 Burial Property Name: Sunset Lawn Burial Section: 1 Burial Lot: 672 Grave/Niche: 7 Entrance Gate: 17 YALE, LAURA A Date Of Death: Thursday, March 09, 1939 Burial Property Name: Sunset Lawn Burial Section: 1 Burial Lot: 672 Grave/Niche: 8 Entrance Gate: 17 You may want to contact the Whittier Historical Society to see if they can find obits. Their website is at: http://www.whittiermuseum.org/ They charge $50 per hour research. Another option is to contact The Whittier Area Genealogical Society. At their website they mention how to get free research. This is through regular mail, no email requests. See: http://www.cagenweb.com/kr/wags/lookups.html Hope this helps. I'm always looking to expand my Yale database. If you have info on your family I would love to be able add it. Thanks I have info on the Yale ancestry, and descendants of Anne Lloyd through both her husbands Thomas Yale & Theophilus Eaton at the Genealogy Files and Links section of my homepage at: http://www.chrisbarttels.net/ Christopher Barttels Dayton, WA Notify Administrator about this message?
