Hello, I am Richard Yale. I have an old copy of the book that belonged to my Grandfather, Seta A Yale. He was from Franklin Grove, Il. The book I have was a print from the early 1920's and goes up to my Great Grandfather. I did not realize this web site exists until now. Sorry for the delay in posting. The book is very extensive and goes back to the 10 hundreds and to the origin of the family, Dominus Otho and the Gherardinis of Floernce. Family began to migrate North into England and Wales, very informative. I am trying to find more of the "local" history of the Yale family in Chicago, La Salle, Dixon and Franklin, Il. My Grandmother, who was married to Seth., was originally from Berlin and Bonn. She was an early teacher in a one room shcoolhouse in Dix on, probably the very early 1900's if not late 1800's. I have a photo of her on the school porch with her students. She was Pauline E. (Resler) Yale. Anyone with more Illinois info, please contact me. You can also email me at richardyale@gmail.com Thanks, Richard
