Hi!

While I don't descend out of the Schell line....there is a marriage with 2 of my ancestors as witnesses....so there could be some kind of family connection....not direct I believe.

See this listing on the Schell Genforum http://genforum.genealogy.com/schell/messages/786.html

He has some pretty good information relative to the Schell family of NY, Canada and some who came into Sanilac Co, Michigan.

I am trying to locate the maiden name of Elizabeth Schell who married John Schell. They had a daughter Almira Schell who married in l841 Ebenezer Sheldon..this is the marriage I spoke of above.....witnesses were Hiram Reynolds and Allen Stevens...both direct ancestors of mine.

Have you viewed the Baker/Yake information on the Yake Genforum that I posted today? This is a source of great interest to me....Baker line and how it intersects with Yake surname.

Robert
