Kristi, I looked in the Wyvill Genealogy that my husband's uncle Frederick Wyvill researched before his death about 10 years ago and this is what I was able to find about Priscilla's family...it doesn't list a DOB for her but the time frame fits right and it will give you a place to start. WILLIAM WYVILL of Frederick Co., Maryland b. circa 1706 in England Emigrated ot Maryland 1740 d. circa 1750 (by tradition, lost at sea) WIFE UNKNOWN Children: 1. Jane 2. MARMADUKE WYVILL *SIR..De Jure 8th Baronet..inherited title Feb 23, 1774 DOB: Unk. Died: Sept 7, 1784 buried at At. James Episcopal Church, Tracy's Landing, Anne Arundel, Co., Maryland He apparently resided for some time in Frederick Co., Maryland which at that time would have included what is now Montgomery Co and then settled permanently in Anne Arundel Co., not to far from Hill's Landing on the Patuxent River which divides Prince Georges Co., and Anne Arundel Co., Some records refer to him as Duke Wyvill and he referred to himself as such on his will. Many of his children are buried at St. James also. Uncle Fred got much of this info from William and Duke's wills as well as Records at the Archives of Maryland in Annapolis, Maryland. MARMADUKE md. 1) Harriet Rateby on March 15, 1764 Children: 1.) Sir Dorsey D'Arcy Wyvill 9th Baronet b. Apr. 1766 2.) Marmaduke Wyvill d. 1808 3.)Harriet Rateby Wyvill b. March 7, 1807 4.) Elinor 5.) Sarah 6.) Ann MARMADUKE md. 2.) Susana Burgers Oct. 15th, 1775 Children: 1.) Walter Wyvill * Sir 11th Baronet of Clavert Co...can't read his birthdate 2.) Hale Wyvill d. unmarried 1813 3.) Jane 4.) Elizabeth 5.) Susanna 6.) Mary 7.)Matilda 8.) Priscilla (whom I am guessing is yours) It seems also that at least Harriet Rateby Wyvill should be listed under her also if they married in 1775 and she was born in 1807. These charts are very confusing and hand written and I must say Uncle Fred had terrible handwriting. there is also a typed part that has a lot of the history in it. I can copy into a PDF OR Word and send the whole thing to you. Several of the Wyvill Brothers were stone masons/brick layers and built St. Maryl of the Assumption Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, Prince Georges County, Maryland as well as St . Mary's in Piscataway, Maryland. Duvall is also a common name in So. Maryland, AA CO. PG Co. My husbands family wound up in Upper Marlboro and we were married in St. Mary's of the Assumption. Let me know if you are interested in the rest of this book. Laurie Taylor Gilman Notify Administrator about this message?
