I have now received the marriage certificate, Aaron Whyvill and Ann Temple were married in 1863 at the Parish Church Settrington, Yorkshire, it confirms Aaron's father was Richard W(h)yvill. (spelt with the h).
Children of Aaron W(h)yvill and Ann, that I know of from the 1881 census are:-
William born 1868/9
Mary Hannah born 1870 (my great grandmother)
Frank born 1872/3
Robert born 1876/7
all born Pickering, Yorkshire
