My husband's grandfather,Frederick S.Wyvill,researched the Wyvill family and I find the following notations in his booklet.
" Marmaduke Wyvill,who inherited the title in 1774,oldest son of William,lived apparently for a time in Frederick County,Maryland but settled permanently in Anne Arundel County,MD. not too far from Hills Landing near the Patuxent River which divides Anne Arundel County from Prince Georges County,MDSome records refer to him as Duke Wyvill and he himself wrote it thus on the jacket of his will.He is buried,as are many of his children,at St. James Episcopal Church at Tracey's Landing." The church is in Anne Arundel Co. Md.
