Joshua Wynne m. # 2 Frances Cocke
This accounts for the mysterious Frances Wynne who we encounter after Joshua's death:This agreement was signed and recorded by 13 December 1711.The witnesses were Peter Jones and Thomas Cocke.Joshua Wynne entered into a 500 pound bond with Robert Munford, John Anderson and William Anderson as trustees to insure that Frances Cocke, relict of Thomas Cocke, deceased, maintained the right to enjoy all the estate she had at the time of their marriage "shortly to be soleminized" and to dispose of her property as she saw fit.It is recorded in the original of the Prince George County Wills & Deeds, 1710-1713 on page 77.In the published transcript by Benjamin Weisiger it is on page 14. This was passed on to me by a dear fellow genealogist. This is, indeed, for me, an exciting bit of new information!
