The information about John Wynn coming from CT is another oral tradition I heard from a Wynn researcher.He claims that John was a "bound boy" to a Tory during the Rev. War in CT, later moved to NJ where he was a shoemaker and a farmer, then on to PA.Also says John's father immigrated from Scotland...not sure of the veracity of any of this.I have seen the accounts of coming from NJ, also, and it certainly could be the case.There were other families in that same area of Northumberland Co. that were from NJ (e.g. the Shipmans).
