Vicki,
There are more documents than would be appropriate to cite on this forum. Here are a few:
Daniel Winn granted a gift of deed of 300 acres on Little Hounds Creek to his son Thomas Winn on 11 April 1765 (Lunenburg Co. VA Deed Book 10, p.148).
On 12 April 1788, Thomas Winn sold 371 acres on Little Hounds Creek to William Hatchett. The deed was witnessed by Thomas's brother Orsamus Winn. Thomas's wife Joyce relinquished her right of dower (Lunenburg Co. VA Deed Book 15 p. 213).
On 29 Jan. 1788, Joel Farguson wrote his will Lunenburg, which mentioned his children by name including daughter, Joyce Winn (Lunenburg Co. VA Will Book 3 p. 321).
Thomas Winn and Joyce moved to Brunswick Co. VA where Thomas died with a will written 5 May 1795. This will is in Loose Wills, Brunswick Co. VA. A transcript of Thomas's will was published in its entirety in Southside Virginian Vol 3 No. 1, October 1984. The following is my abstract of the will:
