I'm looking for any information about Francis Barton or Bartlett Wynne. A family document with some Wynn/Winn history gives very little. Only that he was born abt 1755. He married a Miss Whitfield. They had a son, John, born in 1780 in Georgia. Francis' father is unknown, but his Grandfather is John Huddleston Wynne, born 1628 in Wales. John Huddleston was the son of a Welsh baronet. After years of political intrigue he relinquished his land and title in Wales to his oldest son and moved to America in 1689. He met and married a Quaker woman and raised a second family with her. Any further info on John Huddleston Wynne or his unknown children would also be appreciated.
