This is posted for Marcia Lent: I just recently queried Google for anything new appearing on the internet re: Edward of Woburn. I am also a direct descendant of his. My tree branches off the Josephs, to the Abiathars, who mainly lived in Hudson, NH (known previously as Nottingham, NH), then Whitingham, VT. Sadly, I have lapsed in keeping up as I never could find anyone to communicate with! I have merely lurked about, waiting for signs of someone else researching that lineage! I've obtained my father's DNA, submitted over a year ago to the WINN DNA Project. Originally, it was hoped we connected to Dr. Thomas WYNNE of Pennsylvania, but that was not borne out by DNA. Now, it's possible we are linked somehow with William Watkins Winn(?). Have any clues to substantiate that claim, Marcia? It truly is a joy to see FINALLY someone who is a descendant (other than my own family members!) researching Edward Winn of Woburn, MA. Thank you...Ellen WINN Childers, currently of Santee, SC
