Have recently found new information (for me) on the 4 daughters of Robert Wynne and his wives Adeline Green and Susannah Thomason. Robert was the youngest son of Minor R. Wynne and Eliza Frances Estes (Mary Elizabeth Frances Estes, we think was her full name).
This information is as correct as possible at this time - I welcome corrections and any additional info on this family.
Robert, b. 1810 in Greenville, SC d. sometime in 1861 in Carrol County, GA, m. 1st Adeline Green (b. 22 Feb 1823 in SC, d. 16 Sep 1852 in SC, bur. Hawkins-Green Cem, Greer, SC) on 21 May 1844. They had 3 girls:
1. Mary Susan (b. Mar 6, 1846 in SC, d. Nov 7, 1920 in Beech Springs, SC; bur. Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cem., Roebuck, SC) m. sometime before 1869 in SC to Jacob Manning Morgan (b. Dec. 9, 1844 in Spartanburg Co., SC, d. Feb. 16, 1912 in Spartanburg Co., SC; bur. Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cem., Roebuck, SC).
Their children that I know of: Isaac Nathaniel (b. 1869); Jesse Thomas (Oct. 1871 to Feb. 14, 1943); Lewis G. (Sep. 26, 1876 to Feb. 23, 1897; bur. Mt. Zion Baptist Cem., Roebuck, SC); Lillie H. (Feb. 7, 1878 to May 31, 1880; bur. Mt. Zion Baptist Cem., Roebuck); Infant Daughter (b & d 1880) & Infant Daughter (b & d 1882) both bur. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cem., Roebuck); Wade Hampton and Marion Culbreth Butler Morgan (twins) (b. Oct 31, 1882 - Wade d. in 1960 & is also bur. at Mt. Zion Cem. Roebuck; M. C. Butler died in Dec. 1966 in Spartanburg, SC); Benjamin Manning (Jan. 31, 1888 to Mar. 1970).
Isaac Nathaniel m. Lula Jane Collins (b. 1870, d. Nov. 21, 1944 in Aiken Co., SC). They had children: Pearl, C. Belle, Lillie, M. Lewis, Ruby, Mildred, Sunie, Benard, Claude O. and Ralph Collins Morgan.
Jesse Thomas m. Edith Martha Webber (b. 1874 in SC). They had children: Thomas W., Carl S., Buren Webber, Lois, Vera M., Jesse T., Julian Ernest, Daniel C. and Marie Ernestine Morgan.
Wade Hampton m. Cora Sue Holden (1886-1961). They had children: Paul Hampton, Linnie and Evelyn.
Marion Culbreth Butler m. Lilly Bell Suddeth (b. 1892 in SC). They had children: Elizabeth M., Frances E., Emmie Flossie, Charles Bulter, and Benjamin Morgan.
Benjamin Manning m. Tolie (Toliver?) Unknown (b. 1890 in SC). They had children: Martha Lorine, B. Ruth, Mary Lucille, Della Mae, Margaret C. Morgan.
2. Amanda Sophira Wynne (b. Dec 21, 1847 in SC, d. Feb. 17, 1882 in Cooke County, Texas) m. on Dec 21, 1869 in Spartanburg Co., SC to Edward Baxter Gaston (b. Jul 23, 1842 in Spartanburg Co., SC, d. Sep 10, 1915 in Cooke Co., TX; bur. Spring Creek Cem., Cooke Co., TX).
They had children: Thomas Lee (Oct 21, 1870 to Oct 14, 1954); Janetta Adeline (Nettie) (Sep 21, 1873 to Oct 25, 1971); Corrie Alice (Oct 14, 1876 to Oct 25, 1971); Anna Walker (Sep 3, 1878 to Aug 21, 1967); Emma Wynne (Sep 3, 1878 to Jun 1881); Edward Newton (Newt) (Mar 19, 1881 to Aug 9, 1963).
Thomas Lee m. Imogene C. Unknown (b. 1871 in Texas). They had children: Frank N., Edward Baxter, Thomas L., Oren Tom, Mary D., Paul and Ruth Mildred Gaston.
Janetta Adeline m. William Ira Gilliland (b. Nov 5, 1876 in Texas). They had a daughter, Cora C. in 1903.
Corrie Alice m. Robert Edmund Lee McBee (1876-1940). They had children: Lora, Lucille, Ruth Amanda, Grace M., Edward Houston, Marguerite or Margaret, Robert Edward and Corrie A. McBee.
Edward Newton m. Suda (or Julia?) Alexander (1886-1941). They had children: Burnie Lee, Lizzie H., Edna, Ida and Inez.
