Thanks so much Billie for the input. I extracted my information from the 1850 FederalCensus for District 3, Wilson, TN (4 Sep) From what you have told me, it looks like Allanson Gallatin Wynn & Dicy McFarland were married more like 1847 or earlier and had 2 children that we know of.They are:
1. Caroline Wynn b. ca 1848 Lebanon, Wilson, TN
2. Allanson Gallatin Wynn, Jr. b. Wilson Co., TN
Allanson G. Wynn m1)16 Sept. 1830 Martha G. Hunt and she must be the mother to the 2 boys that are 19 years old. They are either twins or born close enough to be 19 at the same time. This makes sense because they were born ca 1831.
1. Thomas H. Wynn
2. James Wynn
Now, Allanson's mother, Lucy was also enumerated with the family and she was age 76 being born in NC.This leaves the one we haven't identified and my guess is the same, she is either a spinster sister to Alanson Gallatin Wynn, Sr. or was married to a brother.
Thanks again for clearing some of this up for me!
