Her name was Susannah Winn.According to the Widow's Pension Application, she was married to James Bonnell in 1839 in Mainsburg, Juniata County. At this point,I can't find any record of a Mainsburg in either Juniata or Mifflin County, but there were a couple Winn families in that area.
Her husband James Bonnell was a Civil War vet as were several of her sons. One of those sons,Wilson P. Burnell [note, for some reason, the sons all started spelling the name "BURNELL" when they joined the army.] married a Winn from Celina, Ohio, in 1865,just after he was discharged. He had been a POW and escaped, either from Salisbury Prison or Andersonville, depending upon the account I've read.
