I also am interested in the Baldwin Co., AL Wynn families. My Pulaski Co., GA Wynn research led me to visit Baldwin County, where I met many descendants of JOHN HAMILTON WYNN, SR., b. 1813, Montgomery Co., GA (listed on his tomb), d. 25 Nov. 1897, Baldwin Co., AL.His wife, LouisianaWynn was b. 1815, Thomas Co., GA; d. 5 May 1903, Baldwin Co., AL.Both are buried in the Wynn Cemetery there. The WYNN CEMETERY is located one mile off Highway 59 on County Road 32, East. The land for the cemetery was donated by John Hamilton Wynn. Many of his children and grandchildren are buried there...a very large and beautiful cemetery.John H. Wynn's son, WILLIAM W. WYNN is buried there: b. 23 May 1844; d. 12 Dec. 1914, CSA, Co. K., 32nd. Ala. Reg.His wife, ELIZABETH P. WYNN is buried there. She was b. 2 Jan 1850; d. 13 apr 1926.My interest in the huge Baldwin Co. Wynn clan came about because my great-grandfather's brother, Elijah, wentthere and lived next door to John Hamilton Wynn.
I believe JOHN HAMILTON WYNN was the oldest son of my great-great grandfather, JOHN WYNN, b. 1787, d. 1860, Pulaski Co., GA.
Does anyone have any information concerning any of this?
