Myster solved! Thanks to a response by Christopher Wynkoop outside this forum, the identity of the persons in the photograph in question has been resolved. They are: Col. John Estill Wynkoop and his 2nd wife, Annie (Halberstadt) Wynkoop, circa 1863.

According to Chris Wynkoop's records, Col. John Estill Wykoop was a nephew of Col. George C. Wynkoop and for a time during the Civil War, served in the same cavalry unit with his uncle, that being: The 7th Pennsylvania Cavalry.

Thank You, Chris Wynkoop, for your knowledge and response.

Mike Clarke
