I would be very interested to know what children you have listed for Jehiel Franklin Wynkoop, son of John and Elizabeth Corbett Wynkoop. My great grandfather is Lyman Wynkoop. I have been having no luck tracing his father and mother. I have four different sources listing four different places of birth. I am hoping that Lyman may have been J. Franklin's oldest son. Lyman was born ca 1849. He was married in Portland, OR in 1877 and lived most of his life in the Portland area. However, he did have a piece of propertly in Cowlitz County, WA, and it was there he committed suicide in 1923. Because of this Washington connection, I started looking for Wynkoops there. I found a death certificate in Yakima, WA, for Daniel J. Wynkoop, born 21 Oct 1851 in Jefferson County, PA. Parents are listed as J. Franklin Wynkoop, born in PA, and Elizabeth W. Leach, born in England. Let me know if I can be of any help to you.
