Hi Lagree, I have a Ledwell listed in the June 9, 1860 records, as living in the St. Stephens Parish, Charleston Dist.

If this sound like he may be the one, let me know I have a lot of info on the W(i)yndham family. By the way the spelling was changed in the 1870 except for the one who stayed in the upper part of the old Georgetown co. group. How ever they are one the one and same family.
