Hi Arthur - Thank you for your message. You need to GOOGLE
Captain James Wyly (1724-1772 on the Net. He had at least three sons, whom I have tracked. There is a very rich military history with the WYLY family from the REV. WAR, the
War of 1812, Texas Independence(1836), and the Civil War, plus more current, as well. Capt. Wyly, Sr. had my James
Wyly, Jr.(DAR), a Robert Wyly who married Dorcas Balch of
Greeneville, Tenn. (Tusculum College) and thirdly your Harris Mckinly Wyly of Benton County, Tenn. You need to
find a copy of the Wyly Saga by Jonathan K.T. Smith, Esq.
at a TENN. library. I have a copy of it. It talks directly
about your branch under Kinley or McKinley. It is a very
good reference. Also,Capt. Alfred Hrnderson Wyly, under
Robert and Dorcas Balch is listed at the San Jacinto (1836)
Monumen in the Texas War for Independence. Ater the Alamo.
Good Luck! Contact me w/ questions. Jim Wyly
