I'm descended from a Mary Wyllie who married James Cunningham, wool comber/washer on 10 Nov 1820 in Stewarton. They're on the 1841 & 1851 census in Stewarton, then in New Monkton, Lanarkshire in 1861. James is still there in 1871 and died there in 1878. No further mention of Mary, so I think she died between 1861-71, but I can't find her death cert. I think her parents were Robert Wyllie & Margaret Wilson, m. 30 Nov 1793 in Stewarton. This is based on Mary's children's names & convenient date & place. I'd love to hear any info on Mary, her forebears & her descendents.
