Lorenzo Wylie was born in Covington, Wyoming Co., NY June 10th, 1817. He is a farmer and surveyor. For forty-three years he has been a member of the Methodist Church. Until the abolition of that office in 1856 he was town superintendent; was town clerk 1857-59; was elected supervisor in 1859, and served six terms, and for the past nine years he has held the office of justice of the peace.
