My great aunt Mae Newman Coates was the daughter in law of Catherine Wyland Coates. She said that Catherine had a heavy accent and our family has always thought Catherine was perhaps Penn-Dutch.
I have certified copy of marriage record - her name was spelled "Wineland". Plese contact me by E-mail.
