Back with the results of the records from Lancaster County, PA.Hoping that someone can identify with the following names. I must
comment on the different spellings of Weiland. These were German immigrants to America, speaking and writing in German. When any record was made, it was made to an English speaking person who wrote the name as they heard it. Hence, we get Wiland, Wineland,Wealand, Wyland, Wayland. Sometimes we get the actual name of Weiland, Wieland, but usually this was with later immigrants.

1759 Will of Peter Wyland. Lancaster Co., PA Mentions a wife, son Peter and his brothers and sisters. Not any name for wife
or brothers and sisters.
2 July 1759. Lancaster Co., PA Margaret Wyland was appointed as administrator of Peter Wyland estate.
6 Mar 1761. Lancaster Co., PA Christian Wyland, above age 14, son of Peter Wyland, deceased, chooses his brother, VALENTINE
WYLAND as his guardian.
23 December 1815. Lancaster Co., PA Margaret Wiland, deceased,
HENRY WILAND appointed administrator of estate.
15 Jun 1817. Cocalico, Lancaster Co., PA Margaret Wealand estate.
Henry Wealand filed his Administrator Accounts.
19 October 1789. Lancaster Co., PA Christian Wineland dictated
his will. He named his mother Ann Wineland and brother in law, John Lichty as executors. Christian left all his monies to his mother Ann until her decease, then to be divided amongst brothers and sisters equally. Christian left his cattle, implements, wearing apparel and all his effects to be divided equally amongst his
brothers & sisters & step sister. To wit:
Barbara and Ann Newswander
John and Jacob Wineland
Catherine Christian
Elizabeth Wineland
Christian said that Catherine share shall be reserved and kept in money for her children until they come of age. (wonder if
she is the step sister).
Witnesses to Will: Benjamin Musser & Conrad Vill. Christian signed his will with a X mark.
24 March 1792. Lancastor Co., PA The witnesses, Benjamin Musser & Conrad Vill appeared in court attesting that they
had witnessed the sigining, seal, publish of the will of Christian. Christian being deceased.
There was a Christian Weiland who died in 1740 in Lancaster County, PA but died intestate, so not any will.
