Back with the results of the records from Lancaster County, PA.Hoping that someone can identify with the following names. I must comment on the different spellings of Weiland. These were German immigrants to America, speaking and writing in German. When any record was made, it was made to an English speaking person who wrote the name as they heard it. Hence, we get Wiland, Wineland,Wealand, Wyland, Wayland. Sometimes we get the actual name of Weiland, Wieland, but usually this was with later immigrants. This will be extracts from the documents. If you want an abstract e-mail me at mollahan@OregonTrail.net. 1759 Will of Peter Wyland. Lancaster Co., PA Mentions a wife, son Peter and his brothers and sisters.
