Looking for information on Wyer's in North Carolina. My Grandfather Calvin Loren Andrew Wyer was born May 8, 1888 in Ill. His father John DM Wyer was born May 23, 1863 in North Carolina. John had at least one brother Andrew L. Wyer and maybe two older sisters Elizabeth Jane born 1852 NC and Margaret Louise born 1854 NC. John DM Wyer died March 10, 1929 in Washington State. His death certificate say his fathers name was Jacob Wyer born NC, Mother Barbara (maybe Bodenhamer)born NC. Jacob's father may have been Barnabus Weir, mother Elizabeth Clodfelter?.
