Pieter Claesen ancestry to King Harold II - Fact or Fiction?

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a direct descendant of Pieter Claesen Wyckoff, and had a question regarding his ancestry. There is a published lineage that appears all over the internet that links Pieter Claesen to Harold II of England, with many other royal linkages. However, there is a internet reference that suggests that the person who formulated this genealogy (Anjou) may not have been reputable or reliable. Does anyone happen to know what is currently accepted as the reliable ancestry for Pieter Claesen? If so, is it available?
