I am researching the line and plan to be in England in May 2002. I want to include on my itinerary some locations important in the Wyche History. Any information you give me will ber helpful. Including, how hard or easy is it to get around the towns and countryside if one doesn't plan to drive a hire car while there. Neither my husband nor I feel confident enough to handle both the left side road driving and opposite side driver seat to ours while not being familiar with the roads, towns, and so on. We can travel the distances via rail, but don't now about the shorter treks within the towns we hope to see. Do most of the small towns and villages have bus service or taxis (and if so are they very expensive) or is walking from place to place for older folk a possibiity? Are tandem bicycles available to hire? Any information will be GREATLY appreciated.
