Hi Diane, Yes, I do not have the entire Farmer book but I do have copies of some of the pages. I have the pages which deal with Major William Wyatt (ca1627-ca1693) and his family, including the son, John Wyatt (ca.1657-after1704) who m. Ann Jones. I also have the pages which deal with John Wyatt, Jr., son of the above John and Ann (Jones) Wyatt. This younger John m. Jane [Pamplin?]. The book is extremely well documented with primary sources. It would be impossible to cite all of them via the Wyatt Family Genealogy Forum. I have in the past sent copies of the relevant pages to several Wyatt researchers free of charge and the book has been discussed at length on the Wyatt Rootsweb Mailing List. You might want to check the archives of that list. Also, the book has been discussed here in several threads. See message numbers 1465, 1485 and 1486 on this board. In message 1465, I mentioned that Farmer relied on the 1704 Quit Rents and later patent records to show that Major William Wyatt was the father of William, John and Richard Wyatt. I should also point out that the Farmer book is NOT the first publication which points out that that the John Wyatt who m. Ann Jones was the son of Major William Wyatt. A 1944 article from _Tyler's Quarterly Magazine_ which I cite in message 1465 and which I quote in message 1485 also asserts that John was the son of Major William Wyatt. As far back as 1901, in an article in the _William and Mary Quarterly_, a researcher reported that the John Wyatt who m. Ann Jones was the son of Maj. William Wyatt. Please see http://www.lamartin.com/genealogy/wyatt.htm Scroll down on that page to No. 3 John Wyatt II. Diane, please feel free to e-mail me privately. I will be happy to discuss this whole matter further. Kyle Notify Administrator about this message?
