Steve, Miriam and all,
My address is
Pat Welch
131 Roderick Dr.
St. Louis, Mo. 63137
My computer has been down several months and I'm using my neices. I see you've found a good deal more infor.
I wonder if the Sarah of Sabine Co. is mine. Jesse Wyatt and wife Mary are with their children with a Sarah Welch and two Welch children on the 1870 census of San Augustine Co. Tx, right next to Sabine Co. Her son Wm. David Welchh b. abt 1860-61 and a daughter named Mary Elizabeth. Saran Ann Wyatt was the dau of Jesse and Mary Wyatt. I can't find them in 1860, but they were in Dallas Co. Ar in 1850--Sarah was age k10. In 1840 Jesse and Mary were in Readfern, Heard Co., Ga., and Samuel, Zach, and John also there in Heard Co. Ga.

I also believe that my Jesse is the son of William, and deaf and dumb son left for Samuel as guardian. My grandfather, grandson of Sarah Wyatt Welch also had deafness.

There was also a Sarah Ann Wyatt that married a Higgensbotham who died by 1860 and she remarried. I believe the John Wyatt and Eliz Bledsoe family was the executor of his property, etc.
