My family now owns what was once the Morrow ranch. The old house was torn down several years ago, but I remember it well, and some of the remains of one of the old sheds are still there. We called it the Morrow place, or Alec's. I'm not sure of the spelling. I am under the impression that my grandfather purchased it from Alec Morrow. I remember the house was not large. In a back room, which had a very low roof, there was an old pump handle sticking up through the floor. They must have built the house over a well so they could pump water without going outside. There was also a fairly large barn behind the house. I remember going in it as a kid and seeing the old team horse riggings still hanging on the walls. There was also an equipment shed and a two-hole outhouse.
