Matthew born 1859 Scotland to John and Francis Moore Morrow. He came to Almy in 1888, Newspaper articles tell about his involment in the #5 mine on March 20 1895 explosion. One of there grandchildren (Olive) was born very small, so Elizabeth put her in a box, and keep her by the stove to keep her warm, feeding her with a eye dropeed. A 1930 census records shows Olive at age 16 living with them still, (a healthy and happy girl).
Matthew was justice of the peace, a coal miner, in 1936 he attened the democratic convention in Philadephia. I have collected p[hoto's, and family history on this family, if anyone is intrested.
