Researching Mary Ann Munson & her husband, James G. Parker, & her younger half-brother, Josephus Langford.

Mary Ann was the daughter of Swedish immigrants, Christiana C. (Johnson) & Anders Mönson. Her parents sailed from Goteburg, Sweden on 7/16/1852, & landed in Sept./Oct. in Boston, Ma. Christina C. (Johnson) & Andrew Munson both "Americanized" their names. The Munson's had 6 children & lived in Williamson Co., Tx.

After Andrew Munson's death in 1866 on a freighting trip, the widow Munson married William Ainsworth Langford. Mary Ann (Munson) Parker had 5 Langford half-siblings. Her half-brother, Marcus L. "Mark" Langford, Sr., is an ancestor of my sons.

Another half-brother, Josephus Langford, migrated to Mt. or Wy. abt. 1905. He visited his family in Tx. in 1910 or 1911, but his family never heard from him again.
