At the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. SMITH, in southeast Chariton, occurred the wedding of their daughter, BERTHA, to ELMER E. KIMSEY. Rev. Hugh Moore, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, performing the ceremony, only the relatives and intimate friends being present.
The bride was attired in white mull. She was raised in this city and is a young lady with many good qualities and will prove a worthy help to the man of her choice. The groom is a son of WILSON KIMSEY and wife, and is an
energetic and moral young man, and no doubt will do his part toward making a pleasant home.
They will leave next week for Rawlins, Wyoming, where they expect to make their future home, followed by the wishes from their many friends for a long and happy wedded life.
