I am looking for any genealogical information on US Army PFC Virgil B. Carson of Johnson County. PFC Carson was declared missing in action, presumed dead, in World War II, during combat against German positions in the Netherlands. He was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. Because his remains were never recovered, the only known memorials to him are at the American Military Cemetery in Margraten, Netherlands and the World War II Memorial in Cody, Wyoming.
