TRETHEWEY or HANSEN in Douglas, WY
Posted by: Jennifer Farnham (ID *****3140) Date: February 12, 2004 at 14:16:20

I'm researching any information on the following family
that lived in Douglas, WY in 1920.

William Demon(d) Trethewey who was married to
Bertha (or Bertie or Birdie) HANSEN.

Bertha was born about 1895 (give or take a year).

In the Fed Census of 1920,
Bertie was 25 years old and the mother of 3
children: Harriet 7 years old, Jack 4 years old, and
Robert 1 year old.

I can not find out what happen to Bertha/Bertie above. We believe
her middle initial is "L" for Lorella. The 1920 census
record shows her birth state as Iowa. Her parents were
Charles Avery Hansen and Alta Jolly.

I have hit a brick wall in regards to Bertha. Where did she
die.... and because she left William, did she remarry?
