USS ROI (CVE-103)

USS ROI (CVE-103) was a Casablanca Class escort carrier. Roi is an island in the Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands. The ship was named to commemorate seizure of the island from the Japanese on 1 February 1944. You'll find a capsule ship's history at
