Yeah. I learned a long time ago from the Dept of the Army that award wasn't automatic and that it had to be awarded in the serviceman's name and in a general order or some other official record. The records of the veteran that I'm researching were destroyed in the 1973 fire and it's not found in the records of the 30th Evacuation Hospital
