Robert,

I'm at home now and got the links downloaded.

Can you check with the daughter and see if there are more photos of Lt or Capt Wells with his ribbons?

The photos in the Bellringer do appear to show 3 ribbons that match the Form 66-1, Silver Star, Air Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Theater Service ribbons. The patterns appear correct but an extremely poor resolution so it's difficult to tell accurately. A scan of a photo with the highest resolution possible of the ribbons would be great if you can do that. The approximate date of the photo would also help.

Thanks, William
