I find an Edward B Parsons from Illinois reported July 25, 1944 last report date March 18, 1946, POW in Germany in Camp 33 was a LT in Army Air Corps, organization was Photographic Reconnaissance. P38s were used in Photo Recon.

A Edward b Parson of Cook Co ILL enlisted April 6th 1942 in
US Army Air Corps b. abt 1922. Had one year of college.
