Question about Military Commendations

Who or where would I write to to find out what medals/commendations a soldier received during WWII? Sgt. Cecil J. Cash was inducted into the Army in St. Louis, Mo. in 1942, trained at Ft. Bliss, Tx., Camp Pickett, VA. Went overseas in Jan. 1944 for further training & practice in England. Took part in the D-Day landings at Normandy. Served in France, Luxembourg & Belgium. Was murdered by Nazis (along with 80+ other American soldiers) at the Baugnez Crossroads, Malmedy, Belgium on the 2nd day of The Battle of the Bulge. He was considered a POW even if it was only for a few minutes. Thanks for any suggestions anyone may have.
