2 Lt. Willard W. Kast MI 1922

I'm trying to find the family of 2 Lt. Willard W. Kast, ASN O-784175, 571st Bomber Squadron, 390th Bomber Group, Heavy. 2 Lt. Kast was KIA on March 14, 1945.

I found the Kast family in the 1930 census for Morenci Village, Lenawee County, MI. Father William O. Kast (1875), mother Dawn Kast (1891), brother Gaylord P. Kast (1916), brother Robert W. Kast (1921) and Willard W. Kast (1922).

Listed in the SSDI is Dawn Kast, DOB February 22, 1891. DOD December 15, 1966. Last residence, Morenci, Lenawee, MI. I requested her obituary from the Lenawee County Library but due to budget cuts they didn't have the available staff to help with the request.

2 Lt. Kast is buried at the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten. His grave is adopted and the adoptive family would like to get in touch with the Kast family.

Looking forward to hearing from anyone who can help us. Thank you.
