Thanks for responding to my posting. The USS West Point AP-23 is the ship I'm refering to. I've seen numerous photos of the ship itself and many of the troops that it transported.

I'm particularly interested in photos of the crew aboard the ship. I have several copies of the muster rolls for Sidney aboard the ship giving transport dates and such but that's about the extent of the data I've found.
