I made a mistake and posted this on the WWI sitw. A kind gentleman pointed this out to me.

I'm sorry that I made an ommision. My great Uncle was in World War One, captured on D Day. I want to preserve the info of his verbal accounting of what transpired so that it is not lost. I want people to be able to understand what our brave and courageous soldiers endured on behalf of the people of the United States to help secure our freedom. I would love to post the entire article somewhere. There was a diary but has since gotten lost by other family members over the years. .This article brought tears to my eyes and this experience as well as the experience of hundreds of thousands of others should not be forgotten.
