1903rd Engineer Aviation Battalion, Ryukyus Campaign

My father Jay Earl Lewis (also known as Junior but used Jay) was in the 1903rd Engineer Aviation Battalion, Ryukyus Campaign in world war II.

Would love to find any information on this and possibly someone who father was with my dad that might have mentioned him.

In his paper on this, It says, "October 1944, the following named personnel on attachment roosters are entitled to battle honor for participating in the Ryukyus Campaign and are eligible to wear the Bronze Service Star on the Atlantic–Pacific Theater ribbon..." It also said a certificate was attached, but we don't have it.

We would like to find out if my dad ever got his Bronze Star, and would like to get a copy of the certificate or anything else that might be helpful on my dads history.

Thanks so much.
