Hi, Ok, I goggled Military X-files and found this article. What I gather from it may be what you are speaking of....and I would imagine that there are many IDPF's that may have the X designation ...but that is only my thoughts. Here is the article. X files are mentioned down a bit in the article. Hope this helps with clarification of what an X file is.
