All the information ou have on Willie A and Viola is right on target. I have their death certs. They had several children....thier daugher, Nettie Windham had a daughter out of wedlock....her name was Kathleen Windham. She married a C. Abe Lee....so that is the Mrs C.A. Lee on the death cert....she would have been a granddaughter.

The Jessie you mentioned I don't think is the right Jessie....my Jessie was born in 1914..and I am thinking that since he was a "stepson" to Ellis Knotts who married his Mother, Celia Jane Windham....there may have been some conflict there so that he moved to NC to live with his Uncle Willie and Aunt Viola. I have chatted with a cousin who is the granddaughter of Celia Jane Windham Knotts....her mother was the half sister to Jessie Willard. She sent me two photo's of Jessie...one in reg street clothes, and one in an Army uniform. After doing extensive research....I think I have identified the uniform as being that of the US Army Air Corp in WWII. However....I have not been able to find any mention of him in any of the military records. I am beginning to wonder if maybe my cousin made a mistake in identifying who the photo's were of.

But....I still can not find anything in the SS Index or in any of the online obits etc that would fit my Jessie. He is a real mystery!
