Auschwitz german prisoner

Hello all, I am looking for info on Fritz Arndt who was born in about 1908. According to my grandma he spent time in Auschwitz for saying Hitler was an idiot and someone turned him in.
He was german and was catholic I believe.
No one really recalls anything about him. Other than he died of brain cancer and his sister said it was caused by Auschwitz.
Any help either on him or where to look is very much appreciated.
