722nd Railway Operations Battalion Info
Posted by: Arttie Parker (ID *****3413) Date: May 27, 2011 at 09:37:45

I am searching for information about this particular battalion. My grandfather died before I was born, but I know he was an engineer with the 722nd and was at Normandy, Battle of the Bulge, and the Rhineland (I have all his discharge papers). I am desperately trying to find their yearbook from 1945, or to at least obtain copies of the information inside, as I am researching a book I am writing about my grandfather. His name was Dow Carlson, and went by Shorty. Anyone with any info or this book would be of GREAT help to me!

Thanks!
Arttie
