ALFRED MÅRTENSSON/MARTENSON was born on 30 November 1887, in Eneryd, Östra Vemmerlöv (Sweden), to Mårten Mårtensson and Anna Mårtensson [Johansdotter]. In 1907, aged about 19, he
emigrated to Maynard, Chippewa County, MN, USA. In 1917, aged about 29, he was naturalized. Alfred died on 20 June 1962, aged 74, in Chippewa County, MN, USA. Alfred was buried in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens Montevideo, Chippewa County, MN, USA.
The following information is also recorded for Alfred. Settlement 'from 1890 to 1894', in Vik 13, Rörum (Sweden);
Settlement in 1910, aged about 22, in Minnesota Falls, Yellow Medicine County, MN, USA; Settlement in 1920, aged about 32, in Minnesota Falls, Yellow Medicine County, MN, USA.
