Thanks for the info Richard.

I live is the UK and I am not sure of the procedure to access these records.

The best address I have come up with is the address on a Final Payment Worksheet.

Do you know what I need to do for this address to see if the discharge records were deposited at its County Hall?

W. Gordon Street, Phila, PA

Am I understanding your reply correctly in that WWII military personal did not have to leave their discharge papers at County Hall but they may have?
