Francesco De Vita, Italian POW, Mount Rainier Ordinance Depot
I am looking for information about Francesco De Vita of Sicily, who was a POW in Mount Rainier Ordinance Depot at Ft. Lewis in Washington State. The prisoners came in June of 1944 and were repatriated in Jan 1946. He may have been a Sergeant Major. I am not sure when he left to go back, but it may have been in 1944 or 1946. DNA tests, for my family, show markers for Abruzzi/o, Italy and Ennes, Sicily. His family owned a winery somewhere in Sicily and he may have been still alive in 1965.
I was wondering how I could get a list of the names of the POWs that were at the Mount Rainier Ordinance Depot.
